Engel haben mich schon immer fasziniert. Dieses Bild hat eine lange Geschichte. Bis zur Fertigstellung dauerte es nämlich über 3 Jahre. Angefangen hatte alles mit der Intention ein Engelbild zu malen. Ich habe damit begonnen einen erstes Abbild eines Engels auf die leere Leinwand zu skizieren und mit Farben zu beleben. Danach stand das Bild eine lange Zeit in meinem Büro. Letztendlich übermalte ich nach 2 Jahren die erste Engels-Vorlage mit dem jetzigen Hintergrund um schließlich ein Jahr später den Engel zu vervollständigen.
Angels have always fascinated me. This image has a long history. It took over 3 years to complete. It all started with the intention of painting a picture of an angel. I started by sketching a first image of an angel on the blank canvas and enlivening it with colors. The picture then stood in my office for a long time. Ultimately, after 2 years, I painted over the first angel template with the current background and finally completed the angel a year later.
